Loess Hills Hunting Leases

Hunting leases are an excellent way to bring additional income from your land that you may be overlooking. A hunting lease should have virtually no impact on your operation. You will be leasing the hunting rights only so the rest of your activities on the land will continue as usual. We want to connect landowners and responsible sportsmen for a mutual benefit to each party.

Can I lease my land?  Not every piece of land will be suitable for a hunting or sporting lease. While Sportsmen will desire different habitats for different hunting deer, turkey, pheasant, and waterfowl leases are most popular. Iowa is one of the top 3 deer hunting states in the nation and leases are often sought by out of state hunters for usage in the Fall and Spring. A good lease will have a good balance of timber, water, and crop or CRP land. The higher quality the habitat and game on the property the higher price your lease will bring. Hunting leases of all sizes are sought by hunters so if you have 40 acres of 1000 acres feel free to sign up to lease your land.

How does it work?  The first step in leasing your land is to sign up here at LoessHillsLand.com to be included on our site, or give me a call at 402-250-1006. This will include signing a contract for us to advertise your property but no cost up front. If someone chooses to make an offer on your lease we will let you know what the offer is and if it is acceptable to you. If the offer is acceptable you will enter into a lease with the terms that were negotiated and payment will be made to you. Any of the terms can be negotiated including the length of the lease, what will be allowed on the property such as tree stands, ATV's, food plots, tree cutting, method of hunting, or guests as well as the insurance limits the person leasing your land will carry.

Fill out this form and I will contact you to discuss the lease, or you can email me Admin@LoessHillsLand.com. Filling out the form does not obligate you to lease your land, but will give me some information before I contact you to discuss it.
